Dr. Phil would have to come to town to set up counseling at local pet shops and animal shelters, and then Oprah would come in and buy all the undepriveliged stray animals a new car. And everyone knows that a kitty in a Contenental can't help with the daily crossword puzzles. I usually try to avoid the news, just for this reason. Although I don't want to live in fear, I don't want to live in the dark either. I don't like the news anymore. Human interest stories are few and far between and it seems like it's just more of the same murder, theft, corruption and war. I'm pretty sick of it. Give me a good puppy story damnit! Hard to say.
